Following the extensive renovations in 2021 was the establishment of The Inn at Gamble Mill. The Inn includes sixteen elegant guest rooms and suites that have been carefully designed to provide modern comforts while preserving the historic charm of the building.

If not for the exposed brick and beams, one might forget they are staying in a 200-year old building as they prepare for the day in modern, luxurious bathrooms or prepare a family meal in the completely new, outfitted kitchens. The suite is named for Ted Conklin who purchased the mill in 1975 in the midst of a crisis and ensured survival of the structure by placing it on the National Register of Historic Places. From its purchase in 2019 by the Virgilio brothers, the Gamble Mill has been a family affair and this suite honors the dedication and hard work of “Uncle Chuck” in overseeing this historic renovation. A large living space, full kitchen, exposed brick and beams welcome guests for an extended stay. The suite honors William Thomas who purchased the mill in 1834, calling it the Thomas Mill. Thomas played a significant role in Bellefonte’s history by aiding the Underground Railroad and donating the land for Bellefonte’s historic African Methodist Episcopal Church. Max Occupancy: 7

A large living space, full kitchen, exposed brick and beams welcome guests for an extended stay. The suite is named for William Lamb who constructed the original mill in 1786. His residence - which predates the mill - is one of the oldest standing structures in Bellefonte. Max Occupancy: 7
