Sock & Buskin Theatre Company and the Gamble Mill are partnering together for their third annual charity performance to bring you an exclusive staged reading of Love, Loss, and What I Wore in the comfort of the Speakeasy! This piece, written by Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron, is a collection of monologues and ensemble pieces exploring women, clothes, and memory, covering topics like mothers, prom dresses, bras, purses, and the love of wearing black, based on Ilene Beckerman's bestselling book.
Join us on April or 16 or 17 at 7:00 p.m. (doors open at 6:45 p.m.) and purchase cocktails from The Republic before the performance. All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to Out of the Cold, a low-barrier homeless shelter that answers the call to serve those experiencing homelessness in our community by providing shelter, food, and support services during the transition to permanent housing.
CONTENT WARNING: Guests must be 18+ for this show. This show contains strong language and adult themes, including topics that may be sensitive for some audiences.
